When you think of the foundation of a home, you think of the structure that supports your house and keeps it standing strong. Without the a strong foundation, the home is unstable and not structurally sound. So coming into real estate I knew that having a strong foundation was crucial to my long-term success in the industry. See, there's a lot of attrition in real estate. Nearly 90% of agents fail within the first 5 years. I don't plan to be in that statistic. My drive for success and staying power in this industry forced my perspective to shift from not focusing on the now, but rather playing a longer game. A game of steady consistent wins in laying the foundation of my real estate business. What is this foundation you may ask? For me it is simple. Prospect, prospect, prospect! Door-knock, cold call, networking events, and the like. As many new people as I can come across, as many households as I can call, as many social media ads that I can create, I'm focused on laying the foundation.
